A LAFC fan dissed AJ DeLaGarza and it backfired

Life isn’t bad for those who follow LA’s newest expansion club. They’ve got a gleaming palace of a stadium to visit, an exciting team to cheer for and snazzy black and bronze uniforms.

However there’s one joy they aren’t allowed to experience for the foreseeable future, and that’s good ol’ fashioned trash talk. Attempts to get involved in spats with LA Galaxy supporters usually go south pretty quick when LAFC fans expose themselves as Johnny Come Latelys. (This isn’t chest puffing on our part, though five MLS Cups certainly helps the cause)

Now imagine someone trying to square up to AJ DeLaGarza. Of all the players associated with the club, of all the personalities on Soccer Twitter...you picked AJ?!?
