The LA Galaxy are in action for the second time this week hosting the Philadelphia Union at the StubHub! Center with a 5:00pm kickoff. Landon Donovan is in the starting lineup after his dismissal from United States national team camp. There's one quote that keeps floating in my head, out of context, from a beloved science fiction series.
"Shiny. Let's be bad guys."

Donovan is back. Jurgen Klinsmann either doesn't want him anymore or at least thinks he's not up to the intense tournament that is the World Cup. Shiny. That's all well and good. Let's be bad guys. Let's just go out and do what we have to do to survive.
"Come a day there won't be room for naughty men like us to slip about at all. This job goes south, there well may not be another. So here is us, on the raggedy edge. Don't push me, and I won't push you. Dong le ma?"
Or to get biblical: "Eat, drink, and be merry. For tomorrow we die." So let's take a look at our brave warriors. Or to quote The Big Lebowski: "F' it Dude. Let's go Bowling." So let's meet our merry band of warriors.
Landon Donovan starts up top with Robbie Keane, with a flat four behind them. Gyasi Zardes retains his spot out wide, but Baggio Husidic starts on the other side replacing Stefan Ishizaki. Leonardo returns to the starting XI, taking out Kofi Opare.
