LA Galaxy II (2-0-1) picked up their second win of the 2014 USL PRO season with a 4-2 victory on Monday against Oklahoma City Energy FC (1-1-0) at StubHub Center's Track and Field Stadium.

After conceding a goal just eight minutes into the match, Galaxy II woke up on offense and scored three goals before halftime and one more in the 90th minute to complete the win. Veteran Laurent Courtois got things started with a free kick goal from well outside of the area in the 14th minute. Daniel Steres almost got a foot to the bouncing ball but didn't and the Energy keeper appeared to be anticipating the deflection and missed the ball when it didn't happen. Chandler Hoffman scored his second of the season with a header in the 35th minute. Emory Logan started the play with a throw-in to Jack McBean who hit a great cross over to Hoffman who beat his man in the area to the ball with his jump. Daniel Steres got his second goal of the campaign in the 39th minute off a corner kick.

Second half sub Alexsandar Djokovic snuck behind the defense in the 90th minute, drew the keeper off his line and then put a high shot into the net for the fourth goal. Raul Mendiola did well to spot Djokovic's run and picked up his third assist on the young season. Mendiola is first in USL PRO both assists per match (1.5) and total (3). As hoped, Kofi Opare was able to go the full 90 minutes at defense for Galaxy II as he recovers from a preseason injury.
