The LA Galaxy had their first preseason scrimmage today, a closed door affair against Chivas USA the ended as a 2-2 draw. Juninho and Rob Friend were goal scorers, the midfielder scoring from outside the penalty area. Samuel was also noted as dangerous.
There were wholesale changes at halftime, and it's only one week in. There really isn't much to read into what happened today. However, it is a fine time to begin tracking the players appearing in the preseason. We'll track position, number of appearances, and minutes. By the end of the preseason we should be able to accurately predict a First Kick lineup.
