Robbie Keane led the LA Galaxy to a 4-2 win on Saturday with his second career MLS hat trick. Omar Gonzalez (who just got paid big time, more on that later) scored his first goal of the year following a Landon Donovan corner kick.
Keane also led the team in Match Impact Rating for the match with a 106.5 his three goals on five attempts. The MIRs for the Galaxy were low on the whole as the team only drew three fouls for the match. Keane, Donovan and Gyasi Zardes didn't suffer one foul between them.
Juninho was second on the team with a MIR of 71 with two assists and a foul drawn. Gonzalez was third with a 36.8 for his headed goal (the eventual game-winner). Donovan finished with a 30 for his assist on the Gonzalez goal but committed a foul and was caught offside.
There were no other MIRs for the Galaxy worth mentioning, but after another stoppage time goal conceded, it might be time to revisit the trend.
