Robbie Keane's LA Galaxy journey featured on MLS Insider

The LA Galaxy are getting a lot of love recently on MLS' backstage show MLS Insider. From pieces on Jose Villarreal's journey into the league, Landon Donovan reflecting on his career with Jimmy Conrad, and pieces on the California Clasico the show could be Galaxy Insider. It's not though, it features plenty of other teams around the league and is must see Friday viewing at this point.

This week's episode features a short piece on Robbie Keane's journey, with highlights set to a poem by Colum McCann. The Irish poet chronicles Keane's journey around the world in verse, and it's certainly worth checking out:

The theme of the poem is one US fans can relate to, having to follow our stars as they plan in destinations all over the world. A 16 year old boy plying his trade in Germany, for example. That link is a great piece looking back on Donvan's loan to Bayern Leverkusen at the age of 16.
