LA Galaxy offering season tickets as part of COVID vaccine sweepstakes

If you still need a push to get vaccinated...

MLS: Austin FC at LA Galaxy Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

LA County Public Health announced on Thursday a sweepstakes to help get people who haven’t gotten the COVID vaccine yet an enticement to get the shot, including LA Galaxy season tickets.

Yes, that’s right: You could win Galaxy season tickets, or Los Angeles Kings season tickets, if you get your first shot between Friday and next Thursday, or if you bring someone else for their first shot when you come to get your second in that same span of time.

Check out the official locations to get vaccinated for the sweepstakes and the fine print at the county health department website.

The Galaxy also have a landing page redirecting you to an appointment sign-up on their website, so this is real.

If you already got vaccinated, you are not in the running for this particular sweepstakes but congratulations, you did your part for your health and for public health overall in trying to control and possibly eventually eradicate coronavirus. Also, California’s governor announced all kinds of financial prizes on Thursday for everyone who is vaccinated already, so you aren’t totally out in the cold.

But yes, if you have needed a little push to get the vaccine, just go do it, and maybe you’ll get Galaxy season tickets or a fat check from the state in the process. You never know!
