Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes FIFA 20’s top 100 rankings

MLS: Seattle Sounders FC at LA Galaxy Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

It’s hard to deny Ibra isn’t the face of the league.

This morning Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the only MLS player named to EA Sports’ upcoming FIFA 20 Top 100 rankings. It’s quite the honor for the 37-year old striker, as the rankings tend to reflect ability moreso than celebrity and other factors. (Interestingly enough, MVP shoo in Carlos Vela did not make the list)

In addition to Zlatan making the Top 100 rankings for the second consecutive year, Dignity Health Sports Park is a playable venue in the game. The 27th installment of EA Sports’ soccer video game comes out September 24th on all platforms.

Meanwhile the LA Galaxy have six games left in the regular season to claw and scratch their way above the playoff line, starting this Wednesday in Colorado as Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s men take on a new and improved Rapids. (Who will be available is still up in the air)
