Sometime yesterday a rumor began circulating that super agent Mino Raiola had offered his client Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Boca Juniors. We won’t share the article with you, because the rumor was ridiculous and very much not true.
In an unusual move, an annoyed Raiola himself shot down the rumor.
I have never offered Ibrahimovic to Boca Juniors or to anybody else. Total #fakenews

What was it exactly that led those in Argentina to believe such a rumor could exist? Guillermo Barros Schelotto obviously used to manage Boca and the LA Galaxy recently aquired Cristian Pavon from the same club. And there’s this hilarious clip of a Boca radio show personality attempting to land a quote and being rejected.
The skill from @Ibra_official

Of course, there’s nothing like an old-fashioned trick shot to remind the footballing world of your immense skill with the ball. We may never know what started the rumor, but that is one beautiful shot.
Hopefully Zlatan scores a few more of these to end the season.
