Another El Trafico is done and dusted. Five tries LAFC have given the Galaxy their best shot and come up short. Good for LA, but Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s squad need maximum points this Sunday (3:30, FS1) vs. an inconsistent Sounders team.
What to watch
Zlatan’s movement. Fresh off scoring a brace in El Trafico V, the 37-year old LA Galaxy striker sat out Friday’s training session with a sore Achilles but Zlatan is expected to be available on Sunday.
What Sounders team is going to show up? A Seattle squad previously winless in four were boosted by a triumphant rivalry win over the Portland Timbers. The Rave Green have had trouble pressing opponents and their back line still hasn’t recovered from the sudden retirement of Chad Marshall.
Speaking of miracles, Diego Polenta and Rolf Feltscher managed to avoid cautions on Sunday and avoid the dreaded yellow card accumulation.
