The connected Dennis te Kloese has located another talented prospect.

This morning the LA Galaxy announced the signing of Iván Gutierrez. The 21-year old attacker joins the club from Chivas Guadalajara where he notched 10 goals in 33 appearances for reserve side Guadalajara Premier. Gutierrez is quite familiar with the surroundings of Dignity Health Sports Park, having featured regularly for the Chivas USA academy while growing up in Norwalk.

“Iván is a dynamic attacking player who we think will be a valuable addition to LA Galaxy II,” the Galaxy general manager echoed in a statement. “We are excited for Iván to join our roster and we look forward to further developing him as a player.”

Gutierrez was recently a participant in the 2017 MLS All-Star Homegrown Match and has a few scattered appearances for the El Tri youth teams. Hopefully he can continue to fine tune his game with Los Dos.
