With the waves crashing onto the Southern California shore, Sebastian Lletget starts off slow.
Describing his change of habitat from the Bay Area suburb of Brisbane where he grew up to the bright lights and relaxed lifestyle of Los Angeles, the 26-year old recounts the bleakest moment of his career in an all-access dive into the emotional psyche of the LA Galaxy midfielder.
In March of 2017, minutes after opening his account for the U.S. Men’s National Team with a far post finish, Seba was struck down on the right flank by Ever Alvarado and suffered a season ending foot injury.
We were in attendance that day at Avaya Stadium, and Da Boy was buzzing around the pitch with an unflappable confidence. When Lletget fell, you could tell right away something was seriously wrong. For Lletget to make a full recovery in a relatively short timeframe is nothing short of remarkable.
