Since succumbing to an away defeat to FC Dallas on March 9th, the LA Galaxy have rolled off three straight victories. Can LA make it four on Saturday versus an improved Philadelphia Union side? (7:30 PT, Spectrum SportsNet)
What to watch
Will new signing Giancarlo Gonzalez debut on Saturday? Probably not. Though the center back has officially joined the club, it is unlikely the Costa Rican international’s paperwork will clear in time. However, Diego Polenta did train this week and is expected to start.
Philly are good. Winners of three straight themselves, Jim Curtin’s squad are flying high at the moment. El Tri regular Marco Fabian is obviously one to watch, but extinguishing the speedy 1-2 punch of forward David Accam and Fifi Picault will be a formidable challenge for the back line.
Predicted starting 11
