The LA Galaxy may have pulled off a come from behind victory over the Chicago Fire on opening day, but for Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s squad it came at a cost. Romain Alessandrini limped off with a hamstring injury and will not be available Saturday (12:30, Univision), and now a tweet from Kevin Baxter suggests Zlatan may not be traveling to Texas with an Achilles issue.

What to watch

New faces. Despite missing Zlatan and Romain, the Galaxy welcome Sebastian Lletget back to the fold while Joe Corona will probably make his debut in the starting lineup as well. Expect to see Efrain Alvarez reprise his super-sub role should LA require some firepower off the bench.

Speaking of new faces, Luchi Gonzales’ new look FC Dallas squad stumbled out of the gates, drawing the Revs 1-1 in their home opener. Can the Galaxy take advantage of an opponent still in transition from the Oscar Pareja era?
