LA Galaxy Vancouver Whitecaps friendly cancelled

What a bummer.

Home of USL side Orange County SC, Champion Soccer Stadium at the Great Park is a neat little spot to catch a game. Last season the intimate venue provided an electric atmosphere when season ticket holders were invited to watch a preseason tune-up vs. the Quakes.

Unfortunately the fans won’t get another chance to visit. Due to a torrential downpour that has rendered the surface unplayable, the LA Galaxy had no other choice but to pull the plug on Saturday’s friendly vs. Marc dos Santos’ Vancouver Whitecaps.

Not all is lost however! The Corner of the Galaxy podcast is hosting a LIVE pod this Saturday at noon from TAPS Brewery in Tustin and plenty of guests including LAG Confidential will be in attendance! Come by and hang out! We’ll have stickers to give out and prizes courtesy of our friends at Bands FC!
