Another week, another achievement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The LA Galaxy forward was voted the MLS Player of the Week for his all-around stellar production. Ibra provided the assist to Romain Alessandrini that fueled the comeback vs. LAFC before going full Zlatan vs. the Lions, scoring a hat trick and feeding Gio for the opener.
Ibrahimovic is serving a mandatory one-game suspension for missing the 2018 MLS All-Star game and will not be available this Saturday in Colorado vs. the Rapids.
Ibrahimović is the league’s second top goal scorer with 15 goals. In all, Ibrahimović has recorded 15 goals and six assists in just 17 appearances (14 starts), including five game-winning goals.
LA Galaxy return to action on Saturday, August 4 to face Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (6 p.m. PT, Spectrum SportsNet, Spectrum Deportes).
