LA Galaxy Orlando City match preview: What to watch, predicted starting 11 and TV schedule

MLS: Los Angeles Galaxy at Los Angeles FC Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

After escaping Banc of California with a draw and extending the unbeaten streak to eight matches, how will a fatigued LA Galaxy contend with a Orlando City outfit currently engulfed in turmoil Sunday night? (6:30 PT, FS1)

What to watch

The Lions, to put it mildly, are in disarray. Out of the Eastern Conference playoff picture after losing 11 out of 12 matches, the club’s pricey offseason rebuilding project has fallen flat on its face: Manager Jason Kreis was fired last month while the team are actively shopping Justin Meram.

That being said, Orlando have some tantalizing assets including Peruvian World Cup starter Yoshi Yotun and Sasha Kljestan. The Galaxy cannot afford to sleep on a team low on morale but high on potential.

Squad rotation? Sunday’s game is the third in eight days for LA, and the sequel to El Trafico was just as draining as the original so you might expect a few lineup changes.

Look for Sebastian Lletget to make an appearance and one of the center backs to possibly rotate out, while Chris Pontius should replace the suspended Romain Alessandrini.

Predicted starting 11
