With defender Rolf Feltscher expected to be out for some time, the LA Galaxy need a right back capable of pushing up the field. (The situation is particularly problematic considering the Venezuelan international has been a key contributor to the Galaxy attack so far this year)
Talked to Rolf Feltscher after the @LAGalaxy's loss to NYRB, and he said his shoulder was "broken" and that he'd be out four months.

Could the solution come out of Serie A? According to Football ltalia, the Galaxy are considering bringing Ignazio Abate aboard from Italian giants A.C. Milan at the end of their season.
On paper, the move makes sense. LA requires quality in the back and the pacy defender fits the bill nicely. It also helps Abate and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have a history together: The pair were teammates at Milan and happen to share the same agent in Mino Raiola. (Obviously the deal would require TAM funds)
Abate’s contract doesn’t expire until next summer, but with AC Milan possibly looking to part ways with an aging asset...well, stranger things have happened.
