It looks like there’s a change of formation tonight. The back line is being shifted into a five man defense. Is that to try and slow down the potent Toronto offense? Probably.

Michael Ciani is in the middle of the three central defenders, with Dave Romney and Hugo Arellano flanking him. Ashley Cole and Bradley Diallo will play a tad bit higher up the pitch.
Joao Pedro and Jonathon Dos Santos sit in front of the central defenders. These two will probably be asked to sit a little deeper for cover.
Meanwhile, Giovani Dos Santos is going to be the creative outlet for the LA Galaxy tonight. He will play directly behind both Gyasi Zardes and Bradford Jamieson IV, who are the strikers tonight.
