LA Galaxy vs Toronto FC: Predicted Starting XI

Our predicted lineup.

MLS: Colorado Rapids at Los Angeles Galaxy Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The LA Galaxy have won points in two straight games. Can they keep up the moment tomorrow night?

LA will face a stern test when Toronto comes walking into the StubHub Center. Sure, the visitors are without Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco, but the Canadian club has plenty of other weapons out on the pitch.

Goalkeeper: Kempin

There’s no stopping Jon Kempin at the moment. Even with a bit of an injury scare against Seattle, Kempin should be ready to go tomorrow night.

Defense: Cole, Romney, Ciani, Diallo

Sigi Schmid confirmed that Daniel Steres will be out with back issues for the LA Galaxy Saturday night. That means, we might see the new French defender Michael Ciani play his first match with the club.

Midfield: Pedro, J. Dos Santos

Joao Pedro should make his way back into the starting XI tomorrow night. The Portuguese midfielder will replace the suspended Jermaine Jones.

Attacking Midfield: Boateng, G. Dos Santos, Jamieson IV

With Romain Alessandrini out suspended, expect the speedy Bradford Jamieson IV to take over on the right side. He will bring enough width and pace to really open up that back line.

Forward: Zardes

Gyasi Zardes’ streak has continued! He has now scored in two straight games. Can he fire one in against a stingy Toronto defense?
