The LA Galaxy are in the midst of a hectic June schedule. Games are coming in thick and fast, and the boys return home to take on Sporting Kansas City Saturday night.
Therefore, you should expect Curt Onalfo to try and rotate a bit of his starting XI.
Goalkeeper: Diop
Clement Diop played well in the altitude of Colorado a couple of nights ago. Expect him to remain in between the sticks as long as his play is up to par.
Defense: Diallo, Romney, Van Damme, Cole
Bradley Diallo just missed out last week’s starting XI while recovering from a hamstring injury. Diallo should be ready to go against Sporting KC Saturday night, giving Nathan Smith much needed rest.
Midfield: Pedro, Garcia
Joao Pedro was immense on the road against the Rapids. He worked his tail off to create that second goal for Jack McBean and is really starting to come into his own. It’s taken awhile, but the signing looks to be paying off
Attacking Midfield: Zardes, Alessandrini, Boateng
Romain Alessandrini got a bit of a rest Wednesday night, but came on in the second half and made an instant impact. The Frenchman scored from the spot with a chip down the middle of Tim Howard’s goal.
Forward: McBean
After scoring twice against the Colorado Rapids, expect the young goal scorer to get the nod up top again. He scored two great goals, including a sensational second, where he deftly beat Howard from close range.
