It was a beautiful sight.
The play started in just the 5th minute when Jozy Altidore chested a ball down outside of the box, and in the ensuing chaos Christian Pulisic won possession and played to Altidore before making a run towards space.
Altidore found Pulisic on the give-and-go, and the Borussia Dortmund starlet raced alone on goal before firing a low shot the goalkeeper could only parry to the far post.
Guess who was waiting at the far post? Sebastian Lletget, who calmly re-directed a skidding ball before sprinting to the corner flag and celebrating in style.

If Seba was on the top on the world, it was a brief summit as the LA Galaxy midfielder was unmercifully hacked in the 15th minute and after struggling to recuperate was eventually subbed off in the first half.
It was a cruel ending to a perfect beginning for Seba, but I doubt its the last start he’ll receive under Bruce Arena.
