Over the weekend David Beckham teased an announcement on Monday, which led many to believe the former LA Galaxy great was set to reveal more details about his plans to bring MLS to Miami.
Instead it turned out to be clever marketing. This morning Adidas launched the David Beckham x Adidas Soccer Capsule Collection live on Facebook, a limited-edition run of boots celebrating Beckham’s finest moments in his career.
Inspired by a legend. Introducing the David Beckham x @adidassoccer Capsule Collection.

The all-white DB Predator Accelerator FG pays homage to Beckham’s time with the Galaxy as well as Real Madrid. The number 23 is stamped in gold on the heel, commemorating the number Becks wore for both clubs. Inside the collar two dates are stitched, one for 28.11.04 to re-live a wondergoal vs. Levante, and the other for 4.14.12.
On that date vs. the Timbers, Beckham curled an unstoppable 30-yard beauty past a helpless Troy Perkins.
Now that is a play worth commemorating. The $350 price tag is obviously expensive, but I’m a sucker for authentic Predators.
The David Beckham x Adidas Soccer Capsule Collection is now available in limited numbers at Soccer.com and the official website Nov. 20th.
