Ives Galarcep seems to think so.
The Goal.com reporter says multiple sources have confirmed the Galaxy are looking to lure the younger dos Santos brother to Los Angeles, who is currently thriving at La Liga club Villarreal.
The 26-year-old midfielder is enjoying a career year with Spanish side Villarreal, but sources say he is strongly considering a big-money offer from the Galaxy, who are eager to make at least one high-profile signing this winter after seeing Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard leave the club.
The two-way attacker and El Tri international would certainly add quality to the midfield, and its not difficult to imagine Sebastian Lletget and dos Santos forming a formidable partnership in the center of the park with Jones as a complimentary piece wherever he ends up.
There may be questions about the convenience of the deal, but the Galaxy would be wise to sign Jonathan dos Santos if the opportunity presents itself.
