LA Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders: Game time, TV schedule and live stream for MLS

MLS: LA Galaxy at Seattle Sounders FC Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The magic number is three for the LA Galaxy. Bruce Arena’s men go into Sunday’s match against the Seattle Sounders needing just three points to seal a place in the 2016 MLS playoffs.

For the Galaxy, in addition to having Giovani dos Santos ready to go after sitting out last week’s game on the bench through injury, Steven Gerrard could be back after missing the last few weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Sounders, on the other hand, will continue to be without Clint Dempsey. Despite missing such a key player, the Sounders have done well to turn their campaign around following a horrid start to the season. Now more than ever, though, the Sounders need to earn points to keep their playoff hopes alive. Brian Schmetzer’s side is six points off sixth place, and with six games to play, there is little room for error.

The problem for the Sounders is their last win in Southern California came in 2009, and they have just one win in their last seven games against the Galaxy.
