The LA Galaxy and Vancouver Whitecaps are set to meet for the third time this season as Bruce Arena’s side looks to get its first win in the last six league matches.
The Galaxy arrive to this match on the back of a 2-2 draw with the Chicago Fire, while the Vancouver Whitecaps won their last match 3-0 against Sporting KC in action of the CONCACAF Champions League.
The Whitecaps’ last victory, however, isn’t an accurate representation of their league form. Carl Robinson’s side are winless in their last six MLS matches, including four straight defeats.
As for team news, the Galaxy could welcome the return of goalkeeper Brian Rowe, who missed the Galaxy’s last two games through a head injury. Captain Robbie Keane continues to be questionable, but Steven Gerrard will likely return to the starting lineup.
Match date/time: Saturday 10:30 pm EST, 7:30 pm local
Venue: StubHub Center, Carson, California
