Still carrying the momentum from last week's 4-1 road victory over the Houston Dynamo, the LA Galaxy receive a visit from the undefeated Real Salt Lake at StubHub Center on Saturday.
For once, the injury news comes from the other side as Real Salt Lake winger Joao Plata will be unavailable after picking up a hip injury during training. Plata has been a huge presence for Real Salt Lake's offense, adding four goals and three assists in their first six games of the season.
However, Jeff Cassar won't be any short on attacking talent, with former Boca Juniors man Juan Manuel "Burrito" Martinez playing in his sixth MLS game after scoring his first goal in their 1-0 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The Galaxy, of course, can boast of plenty attacking power too. Giovani dos Santos starred last week by scoring two of the Galaxy's four goals, and he could be key in winning on Saturday.
If we are talking about unbeaten runs, the Galaxy remain without a single defeat at home this season. Confidence should be high, and a win against an undefeated Real Salt Lake would be important in proving their worth to the rest of the Western Conference.
