Gyasi Zardes, Omar Gonzalez named to Gold Cup roster

US Soccer finally announced the 23-player roster for the 2015 Gold Cup this summer.

With six starts for the USA this year including a goal vs. the Netherlands, Zardes is expected to play a major role for the USA as they look to defend their title and secure passage to the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia, a highly coveted prize for manager Jurgen Klinsmann.

Omar Gonzalez, a veteran of the 2014 World Cup squad, was also named to the team. (Also, Alan Gordon is on the provisional roster)
