Cozmo wins the 2015 MLS Mascot Power Rankings

Robert Mora, LA Galaxy

It's official: Cozmo is the supreme mascot of American soccer.

During this week's episode of Off-Topic, Rachel Bonetta carefully vetted the candidates using a top-secret algorithm before declaring Cozmo the winner of the first ever MLS Mascot Power Rankings. Some of the other mascots had their charms (Timber Joey in particular is a good dude), but none could hold a candle to our furry alien friend.

Cozmo is so much more than your average disgruntled mascot. He entertains us, not just at Galaxy games, but on social media, where many of us go to feed our soccer obsession and escape the problems in our lives. He performs a public service by informing us about the latest car chases and where to find the tastiest tacos. And of course, he happens to rock at his job. (Who else could pull off a taco outfit?)

THIS JUST IN: Cozmo has tweeted his acceptance speech.
