A Valentine's Day LA Galaxy sonnet

The skies above oh in the night; A swathe of darkest blue

Against that canvas do doth lie, five stars that glisten true

Thy crest lies gently on mine heart, imprinted on my soul

And nothing lights my fire quite so, than when you score a goal

On Avalon in Carson lies, a cathedral of thy sport

Where hopes and dreams doth come alive; and one team falls not short

Juninho slew the hydra, Donovan took the crown

Keano took the field one day; and Revolutions did fall down

Galaxy, oh, Galaxy, for thee the stars do shine

Five doth burn above thy crest, in beauty so divine

I pledge to you my feelings, I pledge to you my heart

I pledge to always sing thy name, and never grow apart
