The LA Galaxy became the second team to clinch an MLS playoff spot over the weekend, and today Major League Soccer announced the schedule for those playoffs. The MLS Cup tournament will begin on October 29th, and run through the Sunday, December 7th MLS Cup Championship game at noon Pacific.

LA will most likely bypass the weekday knockout round, which puts them on the first weekend in November. There will be no weekday games after the Conference Knockout Round, and the tournament will take a break for the international date the weekend of November 15-16.

Because MLS is taking the weekend off for international duty, they will play games the weekend after Thanksgiving for the first time.
