The LA Galaxy take on the Philadelphia Union on Sunday, and after Jurgen Klinsmann cutting Landon Donovan from the United States World Cup Roster, Bruce Arena will have one more player to include in the match day roster with the attacker back in the Galaxy fold.
Bruce Arena addressed the media after practice on Sunday, and as has been the case since the announcement spoke to how well Donovan is taking the news. As LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano reports:
"I expect Landon to be available on Sunday," said Arena. "He's doing well given the circumstances. ... I would think that he'll be available to play on Sunday for sure."
Expect Donovan to come back at a high fitness level, with a chip on his shoulder. A hat trick wouldn't be out of order. Perhaps Sunday will be the day we finally push past the MLS scoring record business. Pretty please?
