LA Galaxy II are hosting Sacramento Republic FC tonight at 7:30 down at StubHub! Center's Track and Field Stadium. It's the second straight home match to begin the season for LA Galaxy II. Galaxy II defeated LA Blues last weekend 3-1, a victory which got Kenney Walker the USL Pro Player of the Week award for a goal and an assist. Charlie Rugg and Daniel Steres also scored goals and made the Week Team of the Week.

Sacramento are also beginning their first year in USL Pro, and landed Preki as their first head coach. Justin Braun formerly of Chivas USA is a familiar face on their roster. The club has MLS affiliations with both San Jose and Portland, the latter of which have loaned out Jake Gleeson.

"Preki's a really good coach," Onalfo said. "They're going to be well-organized and they're going to look to play."

Curt Onafolo will have and handful of one game loan players to work with. Brian Rowe, Chandler Hoffman, and Tommy Meyer will all be available for selection in the match this evening. It'll be interesting to see if Meyer's inclusion indicates any sort of intent from Bruce Arena as far as a solution for James Riley's extended absence.
