LA Galaxy homegrown signings Oscar Sorto and Jose Villarreal have been named to the United States U-20 team roster ahead of January training camp in Puebla, Mexico. Galaxy academy defender Javan Torre was also named to Tab Ramos' side which will compete in the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Mexico.

The three North American countries automatically qualify for the tournament set to begin February 18th. The U.S. has been placed in a group with Costa Rica and Haiti that will play three matches in the month of February. All three Galaxy players were in the last U-20 camp in Florida, making them likely for the final roster.

Surrounded by dormant volcanoes and with a historic cultural center, the city of Puebla will see four teams qualify for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in Turkey this June and July. Originally founded as the FIFA World Youth Championship, it is the second most prestigious youth tournament behind only the Olympics.
