Galaxy vs Chivas: Match Chat, Starting Lineups, and More

CARSON, Calif -- After a cracker of a UEFA Champions League Final in Munich, the eyes of the nation turn to Carson to watch the LA Galaxy take on Chivas USA. Okay, perhaps only 20% of the eyes who watched Chelsea win the Champions League will now tune in for the SuperClasico, but hey it's something. The Galaxy are trotting out a very interesting lineup. There's no Robbie Keane in the 18, who was listed as questionable with right hamstring tightness. Edson Buddle also is out tonight, while David Junior Lopes returns to the starting lineup. Leonardo is listed as available off the bench having been taken off the Disabled List on Friday.

Landon Donovan starts at forward again, as the Galaxy continue to look for a goalscorer. Pat Noonan starts up top with him. Kyle Nakazawa starts in Donovan's usual midfield spot, and Marcelo Sarvas starts in David Beckham's usual spot. Beckham did not make the injury report, but after flying from Washington DC to Athens to London and back to Los Angeles, he's surely jet lagged.
