Three Star Daily, April 16th: All We Know Is We Know Nothing

The LA Galaxy defeated the Portland Timbers over the weekend, and after looking at the local perception yesterday it's time to see where the Galaxy came in on the national radar. They didn't make the New York Times' rundown, though they were mentioned last weekend. It's simultaneously shocking that the current Cup holders were left out and obvious that a match between two cellar dwellers doesn't warrant a mention.

ESPN did bring up the Galaxy, but only to say it'd be a mistake to read too much into the match. A bit harsh, after holding Kansas City to just the one goal last week and now beating a team they were supposed to beat, things aren't fixed but it's a mistake to say they aren't improving.
