The biggest preseason single event out in the West at this point, for MLS and USL teams, is the annual training camp stays and preseason tournament in Tucson, Arizona hosted by USL League One side FC Tucson.

Even with the coronavirus pandemic raging, the event is scheduled to proceed in 2021, and the LA Galaxy are set to take part.

This year, the Tucson preseason tourney is called the Visit Tucson Sun Cup, and LA are one of five MLS teams scheduled to participate. Here’s their three games on tap, as announced Wednesday by FC Tucson:

Bonus: On top of the first team games in Tucson, LA Galaxy II are scheduled to play a scrimmage against USL Championship foe Phoenix Rising FC, on Apr. 3 at 12 pm PT, also in Tucson. That is added to Los Dos’ preseason matches in Carson on Apr. 7 and 11 against the Seattle Sounders.

There’s no word yet if any of these games will be streamed, but generally the Tucson tournament games are streamed. We’ll keep you posted on details if that happens again this year. And we’ll keep you posted in case there are any changes of plans in the preseason.
