The LA Galaxy still have two games scheduled for the remainder of September, Wednesday against Real Salt Lake and Sunday against the Seattle Sounders, but MLS announced the remaining nine regular season games scheduled for October and November on Tuesday.
While the makeup game for LA’s clash against the Seattle Sounders at home, scheduled for Aug. 22 but not played because the players went on strike that day as part of a nationwide moment, has not been rescheduled, here are the other remaining nine games to close out the regular season.
- Saturday, Oct. 3: at San Jose Earthquakes (7:30 pm PT)
- Wednesday, Oct. 7: vs. Portland Timbers (7:30 pm PT)
- Saturday, Oct. 10: at Colorado Rapids (4 pm PT)
- Wednesday, Oct. 14: vs. San Jose Earthquakes (7:30 pm PT)
- Sunday, Oct. 18: vs. Vancouver Whitecaps (7:30 pm PT)
- Sunday, Oct. 25: at LAFC (12:30 pm PT)
- Wednesday, Oct. 28: at Portland Timbers (7 pm PT)
- Sunday, Nov. 1: vs. Real Salt Lake (7:30 pm PT)
- Sunday, Nov. 8: at Vancouver Whitecaps (in Portland) (3:30 pm PT)
So, three more midweek games after this week and quite a few Sunday games too. A bit more variety with opponents, but all Western Conference foes, as expected, and mostly the closest ones, although there’s now the Vancouver Whitecaps to play to add to the other familiar names. We’ll see how it goes to close out the regular season! Mark your calendars.
