The good news: With both Jonathan dos Santos and Uriel Antuna continuing to perform at a high level in Major League Soccer, manager Gerardo “Tata” Martino has named the duo to his 31-man roster for friendlies vs. the US and Argentina on Sept. 6th and 10th.
The bad news: The Galaxy play the Rapids Sept. 11th in Colorado.
The likely compromise? Having won a MLS Cup with Atlanta United, Martino understands how valuable national team players are to MLS squads. We could see Jona and Uriel utilized vs. the United States then sent to Colorado to meet up with their teammates.
