The big Swede sure has a flair for the big occasion.
It took all of a minute and a half before Zlatan Ibrahimovic had the LA Galaxy ahead. Cristian Pavon skipped out of a double team and raced towards the sideline, and Ibra made a near-post run for the Argentine international to slide over to Zlatan, and he smartly smashed a low ball to the near post that a stranded Tyler Miller could not find. 1-0 LA.
Zlatan gonna Zlatan.

Latif Blessing would take advantage of some lax marking to equalize the match, but in the 15th minute of a typical El Trafico, a moment of route one football for LA resulted in Walter Zimmerman erroneously heading towards Ibra, and it was easy as pie for Zlatan to beat Miller and wrestle the lead back while securing a brace.
All in a day’s work for the Lion of Los Angeles. Always Dare to Zlatan.
