If the LA Galaxy play like this vs. LAFC next week, they’ll get blown off the field.
Despite an early goal from Rolf Feltscher, a flat, uninspiring Galaxy side got everything wrong in a lopsided 3-1 loss to the Quakes Friday evening.
It was just the second minute when Feltscher stuck out his right foot off to redirect Jonathan dos Santos’ corner kick around Daniel Vega and in the net. From that point on however San Jose grew into the match to the point of domination, and Guillermo Barros Schletto’s group had no response. Even worse, they had no resistance.
Once Vako equalized the match in the 61st minute with ease after skipping past defenders to unleash a low cannon past the excellent David Bingham, there was no turning back. Danny Hoeson bagged the game-winner four minutes later and Jackson Yueill extended San Jose’s lead late after LA’s defense was once again torched.
