Creative midfielder joins LA Galaxy II

Slowly but surely the organization continues to add pieces to the first team and the reserves as LA Galaxy general manager Dennis de Kloese exerts his influence on the roster.

This afternoon the club added another piece: Attacking midfielder Jose Hernandez has signed with Los Dos following a two-year stint with Real Salt Lake and their USL affiliate Real Monarchs SLC. A former Pac-12 Player of the Year with UCLA, the 22-year old made seven appearances during RSL’s 2017 season before spending a year on loan with the Monarchs.

“We are excited to welcome Jose to LA Galaxy II,” Dennis te Kloese declared in a statement. “Jose has a level of creativity that can make him a dynamic playmaker in our midfield. We believe that Jose has a lot to offer this organization.”

Los Dos kick off the 2019 USL campaign March 9th vs. the Colorado Springs Switchbacks at the DHSP Track & Field Stadium.
