Not long after the Seattle Sounders topped Toronto FC 3-1 Sunday afternoon to claim their second MLS Cup truimph, Major League Soccer and Adidas revealed the NATIVO XXV, the new match ball the LA Galaxy will use for the 2020 season.

Celebrating the 25th year of MLS, the blue and green colors are a nod to the original Mitre design released during the inaugural 1996 season.

Newly constructed with enhanced materials and tested by the world’s top players, this reimagined NATIVO pulls inspiration from the first MLS ball in 1996 to celebrate the 25th MLS season and kickoff a new decade of soccer in North America. The ball will go on sale online and in stores on January 2, 2020.
The new MLS NATIVO XXV is one of the many ways MLS’ will celebrate its milestone year. In the coming months, MLS will unveil a series of initiatives to celebrate 25 years and to kick off a new decade of soccer in North America.
