Happy birthday, Lion of Los Angeles.
Today Zlatan Ibrahimovic turns 38 years old, and to celebrate Ibra’s personal milestone as well as his two-year tear through MLS, the LA Galaxy have put out a highlight video of all 51 of his strikes, including the eight Zlatan has posted on LAFC. (The league claims Ibra has 52 goals but who’s counting)
It’s Zlatan Day.

The 6’5” striker has often used his sizable height advantage to out-duel center backs in a similar style manner to his time at Manchester United, but the big Swede is deadly anywhere inside the 18-yard box with both feet.
Currently Zlatan has 29 goals this 2019 MLS season, two behind Carlos Vela for the Golden Boot race. Though Ibrahimovic has captured the Serie A scoring title twice, there’s no doubting Ibrahimovic would relish finishing on top for a third time.
It all comes down to this weekend when LA travel to Houston.
