The Norwegian international is locked up for the future

As we reported last week, Ola Kamara has signed a new three-year contract that will keep the striker in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future. (Kamara confirmed to CotG the deal is for two years plus an option year)

“We are excited that Ola will remain with the LA Galaxy in the coming years,” Galaxy boss Sigi Schmid said in a statement. “He has proven himself to be one of the most productive forwards in MLS over the past two seasons and we are confident that will continue as a member of our club. We look forward to him being a focal point in our offense.”

Zlatan may have captured the attention of the footballing world the past few weeks, but it was the Norwegian international who quietly scored a hat trick vs. Australia, erasing any doubt the mercurial forward with 34 goals the past two MLS seasons was worth the investment.
