LA Galaxy vs Seattle Sounders: Predicted Starting XI

Sigi Schmid returns to Seattle for the first time, as the LA Galaxy take on the Seattle Sounders. Here’s how we think the Galaxy will lineup Sunday evening.

Goalkeeper: Kempin

After getting a 3-0 shutout win over the Colorado Rapids, there’s no reason why Jon Kempin should not get the nod tomorrow.

Defense: Diallo, Steres, Romney, Cole

The back line finally kept a clean sheet. For that reason, do not expect Schmid to change any of these four.

Midfield: Pedro, J. Dos Santos

Jonathan Dos Santos, along with his brother, return from international duty healthy and free of injury (a shock, I know). We’ll see how JDS does on that horrible Seattle turf for the first time.

Attacking Midfield: Alessandrini, G. Dos Santos, Boateng

What can these three produce against a tough Sounders defense? Can Alessandrini and Boateng provide a spark once more like they did against Colorado last week?

Forward: Zardes

The monkey is finally off his back. Yes, Gyasi Zardes did score against the Rapids last week. It was not a dream.
