If there were ever a soccer match which encapsulated the tale of two halves narrative, it was this one.
The first 45 minutes was complete garbage. Two goals off counters for the Fire, as Jelle Van Damme and Jermaine Jones coming off injured.
But then, in the second half, this looked like a completely different team. Daniel Steres pulled one back off a corner. Then, Giovani dos Santos leveled things up five minutes after the hour mark.
And while Chicago played more conservative in the second half, this certainly felt like a win for the Galaxy ahead of their four match road trip.
