LA Galaxy vs. Chicago Fire: Game time, TV schedule and live stream for MLS

MLS: LA Galaxy at Chicago Fire Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

The LA Galaxy play their last home game ahead of a four-game road trip as they play host to the Chicago Fire on Saturday night.

After sharing a goalless draw with the Philadelphia Union, the Galaxy find themselves penultimate in the Western Conference with just seven points. To put it simply, wins have been hard to come by, and with the first big road trip of the season looming, it is imperative the Galaxy get three points here.

Head coach Curt Onalfo knew the mammoth task he faced when he took over the team for Bruce Arena, and it sure hasn’t been easy. But if his team is to tally up any form of momentum, this is perhaps the best time to do so.

The good news is the Chicago Fire arrive on the back of two straight defeats, and it is no mystery they have one of the lousiest away records of recent time. What’s more, they haven’t been able to beat the Galaxy since 2010.

As such, history says the Galaxy should win this game, but with the kind of season they are having, you just never know. It is up to Onalfo and company to change this perception into a positive one.
