For the first time this season, the LA Galaxy managed to shutout the opposition. On Friday night, they defeated the Montreal Impact by a final score of 2-0.

Romain Alessandrini scored the first goal in just the 15th minute of the match. Then, the Impact had a man sent off before the two teams went into the locker rooms for halftime. After the restart, Jones scored a sensational solo effort 15 minutes from the final whistle to seal all three points.
