Goalkeeper Brian Rowe did not make the cut, while attacker Gyasi Zardes was sent home with a right knee contusion after missing three days of training, though the injury is not believed to be serious.
The USA battle Serbia this Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, 1 pm, live on ESPN and UniMas.
Things to possibly look forward to?
-Sebastian Lletget getting minutes in a crowded midfield.
-Getting a good look at Jermaine Jones and assessing his fitness.
-Though he might no longer be coaching the Galaxy, I for one will certainly be rooting for Bruce to succeed at his new job, and look forward to seeing what the most successful coach in American soccer history can accomplish with this struggling but talented group.
